One voice message in WhatsApp. Five minutes later the quote is ready.

This is what the Quote Machine does, from the moment he gets in the van to the follow-up email on day three. No screens full of settings — the things that come out the other end.

Installatiebedrijf Jansen does not exist. The quote, the amounts and the email below are exactly what the system produces; only the company and the customer are made up. The documents stay in Dutch, because that is who they are for.

How it works

  1. Message the job from the van

    A voice message or a few lines of text to the Quote Machine on WhatsApp: address, what comes out, what goes in, how many hours. Half words and brand names are fine; that is what it is built for.

  2. Five minutes later the quote is ready

    Article numbers and hours from your own price list, in your house style, with the two things it was not sure about at the top.

  3. You say ok, and the follow-up runs

    One tap and the quote goes to the customer. If nothing comes back, a short mail goes out on day three and one more on day ten; after that it leaves them alone.

He sends a message, that is all

On the way back, one hand on the wheel. No form and no app to install first: he records a message in WhatsApp, in his own words and his own trade language. The machine reads back what it understood and asks at most one question.

“Ja, effe voor Soesterweg 118, familie De Wit. De Nefit HR30 moet eruit, die is vijftien jaar en lekt bij de wisselaar. Er kan een Tzerra Ace in, de 28 c-dubbel-w-vier. Rookgasafvoer moet aangepast, concentrisch zestig-honderd, meter of anderhalf. Expansievat is ook op, twaalf liter. En ze hebben negen radiatoren beneden en boven, die wil ik meteen waterzijdig inregelen, reken maar drieënhalf uur. Kan volgende week donderdag.”

It knows the trade, not the tidy sentences

“28 c-double-u-four” is not tidy input. It is exactly how a Dutch heating engineer says a Remeha Tzerra Ace 28c CW4. The machine knows the brands, the types and the jobs, and looks the price up in the library that belongs to his company.

The hours and the rates come from his own price library. We fill it in together in one afternoon at the start; after that he only changes what actually changes.

Complete, calculated and ready to send. He reads it back on his phone and taps send — or changes one line first.

Beste familie De Wit,

Vorige week donderdag ben ik bij u langs geweest voor de ketel. De offerte die ik daarna stuurde komt uit op € 3.215,58 inclusief btw, en de eerstvolgende donderdag die vrij is, is 23 april.

Eén vraag om het alvast te kunnen inplannen: staat de meterkast aan de voorzijde of achter in de bijkeuken? Dan weet ik of we de rookgasafvoer aan die kant kunnen houden.

Als u er nog even over wilt nadenken is dat geen probleem — ik stuur over een week nog één keer een bericht en daarna laat ik het rusten.

How does it get my prices?

From your price list: a spreadsheet, an export from your software, or simply your last twenty quotes. You approve the list before it goes live.

What if it mishears something?

Then it sits at the top of the quote as a question, not buried in a line. You always see it before it goes out.

Can I still edit the quote?

Yes, in your dashboard or simply in Word or your software. What you change, it remembers for next time.

Does it work with my accounting software?

With Moneybird, e-Boekhouden, Exact and most others through their integration. If yours is not on the list, I look at it in the call.

How much time does it really save?

A quote you type in forty-five minutes in the evening comes out of the van in five minutes during the day. I do the sums for your week in the call, with your numbers.

Does this fit your week?
